Description

Here it is...one of the greatest debut albums in history, original pressing, in MONO. If you're reading this, you know the power of this album. Total classic, from start to finish.

But, you have absolutely never heard this album until you've heard it in mono.

The mono mix is different than the stereo mix. With mono, the whole sound is bigger, stronger, fuller. The album sounds more alive in mono. In many songs, Jim's vocals are more upfront in mono than in stereo.

The reason it sounds better in mono is because it was recorded in mono, then split for stereo. After hearing the mono mix, I sold my stereo copy.

Again, this is the original pressing, in its original mono.

Cover grade: VG. Shelf wear, but no splits.

Vinyl grade: VG+. I playing it as I type this, and there's some minor surface noise in quiet parts, but nothing that takes away from the listening experience. There's some minor scuffs, but no skips.

This record was cleaned using my VPI record vacuum. It comes with the original inner sleeve, but will ship to you in a poly lined sleeve.

If you're a Doors fan, this album, in mono, is an absolute must.

There's no reserve on this item. Feel free to email me with questions.

Shipping is $5.38 (media mail + price for envelope) not $4.
