TITLE/ARTIST: Please continue to check out all current and future listings on this site as everything from my personal collection will eventually come up for sale in my auctions - from the '50's, '60's, and much, much more - all "oldies" in great condition! Here is the highly collectible 2nd LP release by The Drifters, from 1962, on the original, red and purple Atlantic Label - and in super good condition. As mentioned, the album is on the original purple and red with the "white fan" logo, Atlantic Label and is entitled "The Drifters Greatest Hits" and it includes 12 early Drifter's songs - including, "There Goes My Baby", "This Magic Moment", "Dance With Me" and 9 other great songs - all in MONO and all in excellent condition - but please read on and see the pics above for all song titles and more, too. I have listed - and will continue to list - many other LP's, EP's and 45's in the weeks and months ahead, so please bookmark my site and check everything out from time to time. Thank you in advance! LABEL INFO: This original, red and purple Atlantic Label (8041) is nearly perfect with no issues at all - I don't even see any spindle lines around the center circle, which indicates to me that it had very little play time - if any at all. VINYL INFO: Likewise, the vinyl is also very shiny, clean, and nice with again, nothing in serious need of a mention - although there are just a couple super light (and I do mean super light) paper/surface lines on either side. These very light lines have absolutely no effect on the LP's play, and about the same on it's appearance, too. Basically, in my opinion, the vinyl looks almost as nice as the day it was 1st purchased!! JACKET INFO: Finally, this "classic 60's pictured" jacket is also in super nice shape, it even still shows the front and backside "shine" that it was originally sold with - to me, it looks nearly perfect. INTERESTING FACTS: Yes, in my opinion this LP is in excellent shape, especially for it's age and for what it is to collector's out there. In addition, I will continue to list many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too----so please continue to check out my site. As I have already mentioned, I am selling off my entire personal collection, and there are 1000's more to get to yet -- of all genre's and varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So again, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$23.00 for the 1st LP and then just $4.00 per LP after that.
