Description
This is an auction for a LP by, The Edgar Broughton Band, Wasa Wasa.
This was released by Harvest records in 1969 and has catalogue number SHVL757. This is stereo.
Matrix: SHVL 757 A1 SHVL 757 B1
Condition: The laminated gatefold sleeve comes in superb condition with two small lamination creases seen along the spine edge and very light buffing to the very corners only. Spine & edges ex, no tears, bends, creases or discolouring. No dirt marks or fingering indentations, centre ex. This is as good as you can find it and graded at a strict Near Mint.
This comes with its original 'Patent, Harvest advertising inner sleeve which has a very discreet pen mark on the bottom right corner but is otherwise in fine condition, no edge splits.
Both labels look clean and new, Under closer examination a few tiny spider spindle trails can be seen on each side. The centre hole shows a mere touch of wear, being very fussy, please check the pics, superb labels.
The vinyl retains its brand new shine and looks immaculate, Under a strong light two small scratches can be seen on the last track of side one and a couple of feather scratches can also be seen. I have test played this through both sides and found the small mentioned scratches to be audible in one place only. A quiet tick can be heard, thankfully this is at the very end of track four, as the music itself diminishes to silence, heard through the quiet crossover, when the music drops of track five this is completely non-audible and has either stopped or is drowned out by the superb strong audio. Other than that this plays superbly well through both sides. Playing with very little, if any, lessening in sound quality. I did not hear another single fault with this. The audio itself is strong, loud and clear with deadpan quiet breaks and perfect entries, of course except where mentioned. Not appearing to suffer from any reduction due to wear, played a few times at the most. This looks and sounds new and is harshly graded at VG+. Fact is this plays mint for 99 percent of this record and would be the best VG+ you will ever purchase. I always down-grade for audible scratches even if only one and only heard at one of the records quietest moments.
Superb sleeve, fine inner, fine labels, superb looking, one quiet audible fault otherwise mint audio and a fine collectable.
