Italian hardcore-punk band from Udine active around 1981-85.
Together with Upset Noise they were among the most important groups of the Friuli-Venezia Giulia scene and more in general of the Italian one along with bands like Raw Power , Negazione , etc ...
Step one: Does the state need you? Well, f*ck it
The Eu's Ass, which takes its name from the name assigned to the Italian punks by the punks of Europe and English, were formed in Udine in 1981 on the initiative of Roger "Jolly Roger", Gianluca "Killy Fart" and Andrea "Andy La Brioche" .
The first real training was composed of "Killy", "Stinky", "Stiv" and "Totis".
In 1982 they participated in the Spring Offensive festival at the Virus social center in Milan, and then immediately published their first EP in 7 entitled " The state needs you?" "Well, fuck it ." The record was recorded in the No submission studies and supported by the New Fahrenheit fanzine [1].
In 1983 the group prints a new self-production, a split album with the Impact titled This is their death speculation! .
The record gets from the reviews, including that of the fanzine San Francisco Maximumrocknroll , which describes the sound as "a combination of repetitive riffs of Dischargematrix combined with an unpleasant sound that reminds a poet prey to attacks of furious madness " [2] .
After a long tour and numerous training changes, the group broke up in 1985.
