A Rare Album from Blue Horizon and a brilliant one too, "The Excello Story". An stunning compilation of great recordings made by some of Excello's outstanding Blues and R & B artists
It's one of the best compilations I've ever heard and the bonus is , it's a Double Album. I'm really excited about this one and must confess,I had to play every track to grade, it's that good. The Album kicks off with a blinder from Lightning Slim, slow blues item, which has a fantastic beat to it. Never knew you could tap your feet slowly!
In fact nearly all the tracks have a great beat, whether they are blues or R & B and the lesser known artists are outstanding, Little Al, Blue Charlie, Shy Guy Douglas,Lillian Offitt (what a beat to her recording of "Miss You So.", to name a few.
Vinyl Condition: near MINT!!! With jet black mirror like surfaces that have that just pressed look!!! NO scratches NO marks or blemishes visible whatsoever!!! Only the odd very tiny faint line is visible whatsoever!!! Only when held under a strong lamp!!!
Labels Condition: -MINT!!! has only a few very minor spindle lines visible
Sleeve Condition: EXCELLENT With just some verry minor storage wear to the edges and corners, the spine is perfectly straight and clearly legible
Comes 100% complete with the original "Plastic Bags Can Be Dangerous" Poly lined inner sleeves in EXCELLENT unsplit condition
