THE FAIRIES
"DON'T MIND" / "BABY DON'T"

7" on the UK original HIS MASTER'S VOICE RECORDS lable POP 1445 from 1965

A tough MOD record from the height of the fashion, from a band named 'The Fairies'!?
They issued their version of a Mod club live classic though, one renowned for The WHO and The Poets at the time. With bands such as The Birds, Action and Creation weighing in with excellent records on single at the time, somehow a hardcore effort tucked on the flipside of a ballad was going to have difficulty getting attention of airplay.
This band also issued the highly-sought 'Get Yourself Home', one of the earliest freakbeat singles. I understand young Twink was drummer for them, future Pretty Things, Tomorrow and Pink Fairies stick-handler.



The vinyl looks as close as it gets to MINT condition, FULL shine and no groove-wear.
