THE FIST AND ROSE -- I'm Gonna Level With You (Closet Door) / KS -- hard to find, original 1983 US 45 single w/ picture sleeve.  Way obscure Private Press Electronic / Minimal Synth 45 here by this little-known L.A.-area group.  A-side is driving, uptempo Minimal Synth number with Gay Power / Gay Pride lyrics; B-side even better with slow, mesmerizing beat and mournful chorus repeating something about "cancer" and "the union."  No clue what it means but killer stuff.  A tough record to find -- rarely comes up for sale.  Picture sleeve:  VG+, light surface wear, wear on back cover along flap.  Record:  VG+, several light scuffs, overall quite clean, on Double Scorpion private label, U.S. press.
