Description
TITLE/ARTIST: This rare and highly collectible LP release - on the original, gray with black print, End Label - features 12 great oldies by outstanding, early RnR/Doowop group, The Flamingoes. The album is entitled, "Flamingo Favorites" and features 12 early recordings by the group - which are seen in the pics above. This album is just one of many nicely conditioned and somewhat rare LPs that I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead and nearly all are highly collectible and most are in great shape. The condition of both the vinyl and the jacket here are very good - the jacket even being close to perfect. LABEL INFO: It is on the original, End Label, LP 307, in MONO (of course), and in my opinion, is in great shape - although there is an easily removable, previous owner's name sticker on one side only. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is very shiny and clean and looks very nice with just a few super light surface/paper lines on either side - but nothing too serious at all, believe me - plus, they have absolutely no effect on the LP's play. JACKET INFO: Amazingly, the jacket is super clean and nice - with just two super small scuff marks on the bottom seam. But, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: To me, this entire package is really quite nice - and especially considering what it is to our musical history of long ago. You just don't see these late 1950's LPs in this condition out there too much anymore, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. GOOD LUCK BIDDING!! If anyone ever needs more info than what is listed, please email me. I will respond! POSTAGE/HANDLING CHARGES: In the United States, the buyer agrees to pay $5.00 (Media Mail and Delivery Confirmation) for the first LP purchased, and then just $1.00 per LP after that-----so, buy in quantity and save. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces. The charges for overseas are listed in the shipping category below--$16.00 for the 1st LP and then just $6.00 per LP after that. PLEASE NOTE: I will not be responsible for records that are lost or damaged by either US or overseas Postal Services. However, for additional fees, I will gladly ship the packages Priority Mail and/or add insurance! Please email me with either, or both, requests if this is of interest to you. Also, please continue to check out "rogersrecords" on ebay for future collectible records of all types. There are many more to come! browser does not support JavaScript.
