Description

THE FLIES
"I'M NOT YOUR STEPPING STONE" / "TALK TO ME"

7" on the original DECCA RECORDS lable F.12533 from 1966

Written for The Monkees, this for me was their best and most powerful song - and The FLIES thought enough of it to rev it up in their own crunching and winding version!
It's a superb record - also the best from The Flies too, as their other recordings did not get any better than this in my opinion.
Anyway, here's a totally FAB single, and a worthy record for collectors of great and freaky 60's beat!

The vinyl is VG- with lots of light scuff, along with the occasional needle surface mark and light bruise. It plays loud and clear, no skips and once the music started, that's all I heard. Some crackle is evident at the run-in and run-out.
The lables are clean and bright VG+, some light wear but no rips, pen or stickers.
Not a top copy by any means, but worthwhile especially for those not insistent on 'mint' only in their collection.
