Description

Entitled "A IS FOR APPLE", this is an amazing psychedelic poster by The Fool (Simon Posthuma, Marijke Koeger and Josje Leeger), designed to promote the Beatles' new Boutique which opened in London in 1967 at the corner of Baker Street and Paddington Street. GUARANTEED GENUINE • ORIGINAL • FIRST PRINTING POSTER. Size 20 inches x 27 inches approx. Like my Hapshash Hendrix-signed poster also on eBay at the moment, this is another true masterpiece of psychedelia.

It has hardly any surface blemishes and is almost totally free of creases, being museum/exhibition-mounted on canvas. One of the best psychedelic posters I've ever seen both in terms of artistry and condition.

If you like this poster, you'll love the new hardback reference book on famous UK psychedelic artist John Hurford who was one of the real forces behind the British psychedelic art movement in the Sixties and is perhaps best known for the stunning range of artwork he produced for OZ Magazine, Gandalf's Garden and IT.
