Description
THE FOUR XXXX's 5 - Take It All / Seven Daffodils (Test Pressing) - 7" - 1966
Fascinating original 7" test pressing from the 1960's Tamworth-based beat band The Four XXXX's 5, featuring Take It All backed by Seven Daffodils. It appears that this single only exists as a Test Pressing and Acetate - and was not commercially released. The band comprised of: Kip Wood, Tony Cole, Chris Pallett, Terry Young and Ian Parson - more information can be found on the excellent tamworthbands website, under The Four XXXXs.
Both labels have typed credits, and both have been signed by Tony Cole, Chris Pallett and "the modest" Kip Wood. Meanwhile, the card sleeve has been annotated thus:

and has been signed again by Kip Wood.
The vinyl retains a very good sheen with some light surface marks, some fine, light / lightish hairlines and a few small, light / lightish scratches. In addition, there is some rippling of the outer edge of the vinyl, measuring approximately 8cm, which affects the run-in groove and the very outer part of the playing surface. However, both sides play without sticking or jumping - please see the descriptions below and checkout the soundclips.

A-side: There is a moderate improving to smallish amount of background crackle / pops and clicks, while the rippling of the outer edge causes an intermittent dull rumble during the first 35 seconds or so. Grade - G+/VG- improving to VG-/VG. Please listen to the soundclip.
B-side: There is a moderate improving to smallish amount of background crackle / pops and clicks, while the rippling of the outer edge causes an intermittent dull rumble during the first 40 seconds or so. Grade - G+/VG- improving to VG-. Please listen to the soundclip.
