THE FREDRIC:Phases and Faces (Forte 80461/1968)
Very scarce Michigan private press LP of late 60s borderline psychedelic pop rock, and one of the best of that style. 12 songs, all with great catchy melodies. This is not a garage band - the LP is quite polished with crisp harmonies and the band members playing a wide and colorful array of instruments, including a sitar on one song.
The cover is a strong VG (moderate to heavy wear on the seams & spine, no splits but some cardboard showing at 3 of the corners; moderate ringwear; the sticker that came on all copies has been peeled leaving residue - see upper right). The record looks VG+ (fair amount of scuffs and hairlinemarks, couple of heavier marks, but no scratches), plays a strong VG (slightly over half the songs play with a low crackling; a couple of songs have some slightly louder clicks).
