Description

Believe what you see! This auction is for the SUPER RARE Red Vinyl 45rpm single Deed I Do/Talk About the Weather by the Chicago Doo-Wop group The Gems. (Not to be confused with the girl group of the same name.) This record was released on Drexel Records, Chicago Illinois 1954 it was Drexel Records first ever release. The label number of this item is D-901 with matrix numbers "45-54471" on the "Deed I Do" side and "45-54473" on the "Talk About the Weather" side. On each side near the matrix number is also a smaller "69."

CONDITION: Unfortunately, this item has been well used, and is also a colored vinyl, which makes it that much more difficult to grade. The label looks pretty good on both sides with a ring of dirt visible on both sides. The vinyl itself has moderate to heavy scratches throuought on both sides. On account of this, we reluctantly have to grade the item "V-" (Very-Good Minus.) Please see below for our grading standards.

Folks this may very well be the rarest item we've ever come across...and we've been in business for over 35 years! A good condition copy of this...er...gem goes for $3,000. Even in V- condition this item is still worth it! You may never again have the chance to buy this record, so please take that into consideration and good luck!
