Important General Information
This and upcoming auctions of vintage LPs, EPs and select 45s are a continuation of my earlier offerings of 2001. Most of the pieces are from my personal collection of over 45 years of accumulation. The music genres are largely rock, psych, garage, blues and progressive material. Some albums retain their original shrink wrap. Most contain any and all inserts that were used in packaging and have their original inner sleeves.
The material is graded conservatively using Jerry Osborn’s grading criteria, with one exception. I play grade each piece ( except 45s ) in addition to visually grading the items under proper lighting. Each album offered has been converted to digital format and put into my library. That is how I’ve play graded each one. I use high end audio equipment while doing the conversions. The amplifier is a Nakamichi Receiver 3, the turntable is a Denon DP-45F and the cartridge used is a Audiotecnica Dual Moving Magnetic unit. It tracks at .75 grams of pressure to the vinyl.

COMMENTS; With their beguilding blend of sunshine pop and folk/psych, spotlighting the
ethereal harmonies of Pamela Polland and Rick Stanley, the Gentle Soul
recorded just one album and a handful of singles. Now they are highly sought
after and regarded as some of the most perfectly realized gems from the
ground-breaking Los Angelos folk-rock scene. This is their exceedingly scarce
lone album from Epic in 1968. This LP is among the rarest and priciest of all time.
The album has reached well into the mid-three figure range.
