THE GODS "To Samuel A Son" Original UK LP 1970

 silver /black COLUMBIA SCX 6372 - stereo

Monster psychedellic masterpiece featuring heavy organ lead tracks with inspired guiar fuzz and wailing vocals -A must have for fans of Ken Hensley / Uriah Heep for starters.Loads of audio effects on this great LP, backward tapes and eerie voices.

This album doesn't appear for sale so often these days and this one is a genuine UK 1st press.Must feature on everybodys psych / prog / 60's wants lists.

Amazing laminated flip back sleeve ( Garrod and Lofthouse ) -good laminate with a few mild creases only- solid edges with no splits and a fully ledgible spine-minor corner scuffs- -the white rear has a little noticeable age discolouration / light staining but certainly not too distracting -No writings or other defacing marks -I will carefully grade this sleeve as somewhere between a UK Very Good and Excellent-don't forget the mesmerising cover art which is so badly reproduced on the re-issues/bootlegs -this copy is 100% original.

Nice heavyweight vinyl pressing-great original lustre to the vinyl playing surface- some fine hairlines and light marks in evidence which would visually give the vinyl a Very Good grading.The are no deep scratches - The important thing is the audible pleasure of this record - It sounds fantastic -there is some surface noise and a little crackle and pop but, with the content of the tracks, it is not overtly distracting Very Good Disc. Although I only normally put EX discs up for sale (CHECK OUT MY POWER SELLER FEEDBACK) I am sure that this record will find its way into a cherished collection somewhere at a lower price than a mint or excellent copy ( that's if you can find one! ) The labels are nice and clean and do not display heavy spindle wear.

All in all a very respectable copy of a highly desireable LP
