GRADING

SLEEVE: VG+

Overall the sleeve is in really nice condition. The edges are sharp and straight with the spine being straight and true with all text visible. The laminated front piece is nice and clean with a few laminate wrinkles especially at the spine. There is some feathering at the aperture. Similarly the un-laminated rear is in nice condition with some light discolouration and the previous owners name written in neat print to the top left hand corner.

RECORD: G+

The vinyl shows some hairlines / sleeve removal marks. The album plays with some surface noise. This is not too intrusive but is present. There are no sticks or jumps.

The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:

NEAR MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeable deteriorated, perhaps with some mild distortion and mild scratches. The cover suffers from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc
