Label Conditions: Slightly dulled but generally clean with mainly light, scattered spindle marks that only really show under angled light.

Weight of this Record: 142 grams. A very good solid weight for any record.

Country of Manufacture: England.

Rarity: Scarce: like many of the early Harvest bands, not a major seller, also seldom seen with a decent cover.

Original Year of Release: November 1970. This being a very late pre-EMI Harvest album.

Brief Artist & Album Info: This vintage John Peel produced album, their second, is another lesser-known gem on this most famous progressive label. Out of the two albums, I feel this is the harder of the pair to find and even more so with a decent cover as it is so prone to all forms of wear. The Greatest Show on Earth had their own distinctive sound, a large eight-piece band that utilised the use of brass into their progressive sound, a sound that works supremely well and is never too dominate or overpowering. 

Cover Grade and Format: EXCELLENT(–): an unlaminated gatefold format with matt surfaces. The outer is finely textured, the inside smooth, the card is thin and soft, clearly very fragile. Made in England by the E. J. Day Group. one small rip on back cover about 1/2" long. see pictures.

 EXCELLENT(–): this has a few visible surface marks Also under light, more finer ones are seen too. Still holds glossy shine.
