Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.

We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status!  Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... PLEASE ENJOY THIS ITEM YOU ARE NOW LOOKING AT..

THE VINYL   MINT-   INCREDIBLE  CONDITION

As you can see, this vinyl is the highly prized early 1st pressing with the BROWN/BLACK SUNSET LABELS - Stored from new this LP has seen possibly a handful of VERY CAREFUL plays only, and remains in pristine condition everywhere.

This HEAVYWEIGHT pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings. We are seing fewer and fewer copies of this LP, so rarely do we see a copy at all, let alone like this.

a couple of light spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.

There are a few light whisp lines, a couple of the lightest of hairlines and thats it-  nothing else!  No scratches or marks.  Clearly this LP has been archived for many many years, a few little dust specs are on the vinyl when we slid it for checking..IT REMAINS IN ASTONISHING CONDITION.

On playing through we heard nothing bar the tiniest of lead in static in the dead grooves..it sounds like new as it could be! All those classic quiet passages played amazing.overall this is easily as clean a copy as we have heard.

OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST FOR ANY FINAL UPGRADE COLLECTION. YOU WILL NOT SEE BETTER.

Correct FRONT LAMINATED first UK issued earliest sleeve  - with THIN SPINE

PRINTER CREDITS -  NONE

A rare record by any standard, and this first edition copy has the laminate on the front only and tabbed over the spine.

It has some wear and some squash on that thin spine, but still a really nice example

No  ringwear - just the lightest of ring press! , and all edges are clean with minimal feathering and just some light creasing here and there -theres a couple of thumb creases but only light ones.

The open edge remains in sharp condition -with the usual discolour where the laminate stops short..

There is some fluff build up where the laminate stops short on the top and sides -typical of these style sleeves.

The spine is still proud but has flattened, all legends are readable!

A couple of tiny little laminate spider lines over the edges in  a few places..and some light laminate creasing on the spine front

We cannot add any more than this! Its a very nice sleeve and super rare.

THE INNER SLEEVE   EX+

YES THE ORIGINAL SUNSET INNER IS HERE AND IN TOP CONDITION -Some light discolour, tho the original is a buff colour not white!! these are so rare to see inside!
