Description
This is a promotional Epic Records album #BN 26476 self titled The Head Shop from 1969. The songs on this psychedelic garage band album are "Head Shop", 'Heaven Here We Come", "Sunny", "Listen With A Third Ear", "Opera In The Year 4000 (Where Have All The People Gone/Yesterday)", 'Revolution", "I Feel Love Comin' On", "Prophecy" and "Infinity". The cover, which has a slight musty smell, has wear and the name of the manager plus his phone number taped to the bottom of the cover. The back on the album cover has a small For Promotional Use Only sticker plus the business card of the groups manager (Alan Parker) stapled on. There is also a small round indentation in the middle top 1/3. The record has some scuffs and scratches, does not skip and could use a better cleaning than I can give it. There are also photo copies of Epic Records press releases (some have folds) including a group photo, a page and a paragraph story about the group and a "Daily Selected Best Seller" sheet that lists sales from the 9/25, 26, 29, 30 and 10/1 of The Head Shop album plus 9 other artists including Bobby Vinton, Kaliedscope and Terry Reid. The LP sold 63 copies that week for a Total To date of 3,147. It also lists the release date as 7/21/69. Winning bidder pays $3.25 shipping by media mail with delivery confirmation in the US
