Description

The Higher Primates -- "The Higher Primates" 7"

Original 1980 US release on Tekno Tunes Records (catalog # LES-035, run-off grooves are dated '8-18-80'), in Picture Sleeve.

Classic US minimal synth from 1980 -- obscure 45 with the exact kind of sparse, out-there electronic sound with robotic vox that minimal-synth hunters are looking for, on the Western Mass label Tekno Tunes run by The Scientific Americans. A bit like Jeff And Jane Hudson or impLOG if they listened to more Kraftwerk.

Genre: Electronic
Style: Electro, Minimal
Notes: Produced By Nick Brown,
1980 Irresponsible Music BMI.
Cover design: Penelope Brown.

Tracks:

A Taking In The Summer B Living In A Vacuum

CONDITION: Sleeve VG+ / Vinyl NM-   excellent shape, sticker residue and light wear on cover; vinyl is extremely clean, just shy of NM with a little bit of scuffing on B-side.

Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]
grade only used if record is brand new.
Bid with confidence -- over 11000 positive feedbacks selling vinyl on eBay since 1998, with a total 11-year average of 100% positive.

Shipping And Payment Info

Records can be shipped worldwide via any method.
I will combine shipping. Winners of multiple items save substantially on shipping costs.

Within the US: 1st Class shipping is calculated automatically based on weight. Priority Mail is a recommended option, it's faster and more secure -- cost is reasonable and calculated based on your zip code. Shipping costs include delivery confirmation.
Combine shipping with other items: If you want to add a record or CD to your order then combined shipping is via Media Mail and the cost is only between 25 cents and $1.25 per extra item depending on total weight.

Outside the US: shipping is calculated automatically based on your country and the weight of the record.
IMPORTANT: tracking is only available with Priority Mail Internationalor Express Mail International... First Class Mail Internationalis normally a very reliable service, but it does not provide tracking so if you choose First Class Mail International you agree not to hold me responsible in the unlikely event of loss or damage to the package-- please review my 11+ years of 11000+ positive feedbacks if you have any concerns, and contact me for more details.

Combine shipping with other items: If you want to add a record or CD to your order the cost is reasonable and is determined by total weight.

All records are packaged securely, protected by both stiff and cushion packaging, with 45 (in paper innersleeve) placed securely behind sleeve inside a poly sleeve.

I can usually accommodate special shipping requests or special payment requirements, just ask.
