UK PARLOPHONE (PMC 7078) FIRST *MONO* PRESSING (May 1969) OF THE HOLLIES "Sing Dylan" - PROBABLY THE MOST CONTROVERSIAL RELEASE IN THEIR CATALOGUE - THE CRITICS HATED IT (thinking the band were far too light to do Dylan justice) BUT IT STILL SOLD WELL AND IN RETROSPECT IS HIGHLY REGARDED - AND IT'S IN SUPERB CONDITION (barely played) DELIVERING PRACTICALLY FLAWLESS SOUND THROUGHOUT
PRESSED ON HEAVYWEIGHT VINYL WITH THE FIRST YELLOW/BLACK PARLOPHONE LABELS WHICH HAVE THE "THE GRAMOPHONE CO LTD" RIM TEXT AND "SOLD IN UK..." STATEMENT

Clean, fresh and unmarked labels with just a few light spindle traces - seen little play
VINYL Visual: EXCELLENT++
The vinyl surfaces retain their original deep, like new glossy sheen and are practically unmarked - light brush marks but nothing of any audible significance
VINYL Audio: NEAR MINT
Outstanding audio reproduction throughout with a clean, crisp, sharp and vibrant sound - no groove-wear or distortion - plays beautifully with little to fault - a really nice copy - barely been played
SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
The fully laminated cover has a beautiful deep glossy sheen with crisp, sharp edges and spine ('pinched' at the top and bottom) - no wear to speak of - a very fine example
INNER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT
Clean, fresh and unmarked - no seam splits
