Description
Here is a 1960s overlooked classic the very hard to find today Honeycombs final single from late 1966 That Loving Feeling/Should a Man Cry, on Pye records 7N17173, this is the Uk 1st & only pressing of the record, Its a stock copy & demos are probably easier to find than stock copys today!
Produced by the legendary Joe Meek this was the Honeycombs final single & not only was it their final single it was in fact the last ever single to be released in Joes life that he wrote as he penned the B side Should a man Cry!
Only two more singles were to come from the RGM studio before Joes tragic end..
The record did not chart & today is very rare you will probably find a 1000 copies of Have I The Right before you come across this gem!
The A side sounds very like the Mamas & the Papas the intro is very like California Dreaming as are the vocal harmonies!
The record is in very good condition its does have many light hairline marks nothing serious & nothing feelable its plays great with light surface noise on the run in & run out groove.
Don't miss this one of the very last singles to come from 304 Holloway road...
Record comes in correct period pye company sleeve.
