Description
THE HONEYCOMBS, original debut UK 1964 mono LP.
NPL 18097 original UK 1964 PYE record labels.
A UK album in original condition, featuring:
1. The Honeycombs original UK 1964 debut album,
2. the sleeve is made from the period, thick heavy card,
3. on the rear of the sleeve, side two, track six is printed, ‘Aint necessarily so’, but on the record label this track appears as, ‘It aint necessarily so’,
4. comes with its original period PYE, ‘The best entertainment on record’, advertising sleeve’.
CONDITION:
THE MAIN SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition, the sleeve has an excellent glossy front laminate. The spine is in very good condition and all of the text on the spine is clear to read. The rear of the sleeve features the original tri ‘flipbacks’ design, ie fold over edges. There are NO tears, splits, pen writing, stickers or sticker residue on the sleeve.
THE INNER SLEEVE: is in very good++ condition and is the original period PYE, ‘The best entertainment on record’ advertising inner sleeve. The two opening edges have remained very clean. Theres NO pen writing, tears, stickers or sticker residue on the inner sleeve. There is a slight split to one of the side edges.
THE RECORD: side one is in very good condition and side two is in very good+ condition. The record is made from the period 1960s, thick, heavy vinyl.
The matrix are: NN 1097 A1T and NN 1097 B1T,
The mother / stampers are: ‘D 2’ and ‘AB 1’, also hand engraved onto each side of the ‘run off’ grooves are the letters ‘KT’.
THE AUDIO: side one plays very good+ with just some light ‘ticks’ heard here and there. Side two plays very good++ with just some light ‘ticks’ heard here and there. The record lays flat on the turntable and plays with a full, loud period mono sound.
THE RECORD LABELS: side one is in very good+ condition. Side two is in very good condition. The labels are free from any pen writing, stickers or sticker residue.

PACKING - ALL RECORDS ARE POSTED WITH MULTI LAYERED CARD STIFFENERS FOR PROTECTION. BEFORE POSTING, THE RECORD IS REMOVED FROM THE RECORDS ORIGINAL INNER AND OUTER SLEEVE, THE RECORD IS THEN PUT INTO A SECOND PAPER INNER SLEEVE TO MINIMISE ANY DAMAGE THAT MAY OCCUR WHILE IN TRANSIT. THE RECORD / SLEEVES ARE THEN PUT INTO A NEW PLASTIC SLEEVE FOR FURTHER PROTECTION.
