THE HUNGER "Strictly From" (U.S.Public) 1968
One of the rarest and best acid drenched lps out there. Of course its has been booted several times. We at Void put out a reissue of the famous LOST album with reportedly Ed King on guitar! . Anyway here is a rare original. Here's an extremely rare original copy of an LA psych record that's comparable both musically and in terms of rarity to the Music Emporium LP. From what I hear down the grapevine, only 100 copies of this album were pressed. The Hunger were affiliated with Strawberry Alarm Clock and at some point contained Ed King on guitar. The disc is beautiful VG++ to M- with some faint surface marks visible on close inspection, and excellent playback from start to finish. The cover is a qualified VG+ with ring wear and heavy edge wear. The worst of the wear is on the spine and along one part of the bottom seam The back cover bears a promo stamp.
