PRICE REDUCTION!!
Here we have a very rare Doo Wop gem,the 7'' single from The Ideals entitled 'Knee Socks'.It was released in 1961 on the highly collectable Pye International record label and the catalogue no.is 7N.25103.The B side is 'Mary's Lamb'.
The record is in VG+ condition,bordering on excellent, and both sides play well.There are no jumps or skips and overall the sound is sharp and clear. The centre is fully intact but it has been painted over,on the A side only,as shown in the photo.
IN MINT CONDITION THIS ITEM IS VALUED BY RECORD COLLECTOR AT £40 - IN VIEW OF ITS VG+ CONDITION WE HAVE A LOWER STARTING POINT AND NO RESERVE - THIS IS PERHAPS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR FANS OF 1950s DOO WOP OR PYE INTERNATIONAL LABEL COLLECTORS TO FILL AN IMPORTANT HOLE IN THEIR COLLECTION.
