A super-rare opportunity to bid for this original, still sealed copy of this album from The Insect Trust, released in 1970!

I bought it from the Record Club of America in 1999 when they were selling off stock and it comes complete with a certificate

of authenticity from the RCA! It has been stored, unopened, ever since!

Sleeve: The cover art is by Luke Faust, who also plays harmonica, banjo, electric guitar and fiddle on the album. The front image

looks like a pen-and-ink drawing of tall town houses. The band and album names are shown top-left of the illustration in black capitals

and the sleeve background is off-white/cream in colour. The rear face is pasted-on black paper and comprises of track listing, notes from

Bob Palmer and colour photos of Luke Faust, Trevor Koehler, Robert Palmer, Nancy Jeffries and Bill Barth and what looks like an entrance

to a bar. The sleeve is still in the original factory shrink-wrap which is intact and unmarked! There is a small slip of paper under the film which

reads, 'Manufactured Under License Issued By Atlantic Recording Corporation to Record Club of America, Inc.'. There is a very minor bump

to the bottom-left corner, as viewed from the front, and faint, partial ring marks are just visible in places, but only when angled to the light.

Aside from these issues, the sleeve is in brilliant condition for 43 years of age!

Certificate: 216mm x 140mm single-sided parchment-like paper. A black and blue border surrounds the mainly black text. The Certificate

Number of 14736, Date of Issuance of SEPTEMBER 1, 1999 and Recording of ATCO 33-313 INSECT TRUST are in blue. The certificate

is embossed by the RCA and signed (printed) by the RCA President.
