1978 UK POLYDOR POSP-8 (A1 - B2). 'STRAWBERRY' hand etched.
Very rare uk blue label Polydor Records pressing. Not too sure how many were pressed with the blue plastic moulded labels, but there really cannot be many at all, as they very rarely surface for sale, & there are only a handful of copies listed as being sold at previous auctions by the 'Popsike' website.
The vinyl grades around very good. Both sides play & sound fine, but with some occasional background crackle, & some random pops. 'So Sad About Us' plays with some repeated background tics for a few turns. The 45's sound quality Is still great though. Visually looks fine, with some light hairlines & surface marks, does not have any really nasty deep marks, so, guess a very good condition grade.
The blue labels are In excellent clean condition. The picture sleeve has a seem split at the front / left edge, & so was placed Inside a separate Polydor Polygram records paper sleeve - to prevent further damage. The picture sleeve also has a little creasing, a small amount of age foxing, & also a small amount of edge wear, but Is still In one piece, & looks just fine Inside a thick clear plastic protective sleeve.
I will only send this Item by recorded post. I pack my records very well. The Item will reach you In the same condition as advertised & pictured.
