WOW WHAT A FIND !!! This is a UNIQUE ORIGINAL UK UNRELEASED / UNDOCUMENTED SHORT DJ VERSION - ONE SIDED MASTER ROOM ACETATE for THE JAM - JUST WHO IS THE 5 O'CLOCK HERO from 1982, ORIGINAL UK ACETATE IN GREAT CONDITION AND A MUST !!!
This single was not released in the UK and copies of the single were imported from Germany, a HANDFUL OF SPECIAL DJ VERSION ACETATES WERE PRESSED IN THE UK ONLY FOR UK RADIO PLAY with a unique SHORTER VERSION, now I have seen 2 minutes 10 second versions and 2 minutes 15 seconds versions of this unique ACETATE EDIT, BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN THIS UNDOCUMENTED 2.00 MINUTES EDITED VERSION WHICH MAKES THIS A UNIQUE AND UNDOCUMENTED VERSION !!! (this acetate came from a major radio person from the time !!!).
Not only this acetate is VERY RARE, it also has an ORIGINAL PROMO STICKER ON THE BLANK SIDE from the ORIGINAL PROMOTION COMPANY and also comes with the ORIGINAL PICTURE SLEEVE with 2 PROMO STICKERS, ONE SAYING "DJ EDIT - AVAILABLE ON SPECIAL IMPORT ONLY" and the PROMOTER'S STICKER WITH CONTACT DETAILS on the back side of the sleeve !!!
This is the first time this has come for sale in it's full format including the rare PROMO STICKERS and PROMO STICKERED P/S and the SHORTEST 2.00 MINUTES ONLY SPECIAL EDIT !!!
The condition of the ACETATE is in EX/ EX+ condition (very light scuffs only and a very minor dent which can only be seen under very strong light !!!), PROMO STICKERED PICTURE SLEEVE is in VG+++/EX condition (minor bends only).
