Check all the pictures. They show the actual wear and condition of this album This album has been "PLAY" graded, not visually graded. So what I am describing is what you will actually receive. THE JAZZ MESSENGERS At The Cafe Bohemia Vol 1 Blue Note BLP 1507 Original Jan 1956 1st Pressing. Lexington Ave Address on Back of Cover and on Labels. Flat Edge Vinyl no lip. Non-laminated Front Cover. Blank Spline. RVG and "P" (ear) Side One RVG BN-LP-1507-A etched "P" stamped Side 2 RVG BN-LP-1507-B Etched "P" stamped. Cover condition is Good. Slight Yellowing due to age. Full seam split along bottom. 1/2"long split at top corner. Spline is intact Vinyl has been cleaned 6 times on a VPI. It has been play tested twice on a CJ Walker 55, Linn Basik LV X and Ortofon 2m Mono at 1 3/4 grams. Incredibly sounding record. Second play was just to enjoy the record again. Surface on both sides is marred with scuffs and scratches. There is still a very nice gloss on both sides. These do not affect the playback. There are no heavy ticks, pops and no skipping at all . Surface noise in slight to moderate between tracks but can not be heard during track play Side 2 is a bit noisier than side 1. I was so surprised at how good this 62 year old record sounds. Good full bass, mids and highs. The starting price is $100.. This record is worth that at least due to playback condition. You will be paying insurance with shipping.. If you pay the buy-it-now, I will ship for free. Please do not buy this, play it on a cheap table and then claim it sounds bad because it does not. I repeat, it has been play tested on a reference quality system and the playback condition is excellent. So no returns at all. Thank you for looking and reading.
