THE JESUS AND MARY CHAIN
Upside Down *FIRST PRESSING*
Recorded at Alaska Studios in September 1984. The session was recorded by Pat Collier and produced by Joe Foster. However the band and Alan McGee were unhappy with the results. So McGee and William Reid returned to Alaska Studios to remix it, adding more feedback. Pat Collier also claims some credit in the production. Though most releases only credit Alan (McGee) for the a-side and Joe Foster for the b-side, some credit The Jesus And Mary Chain instead.
The first 1,000 copies were printed by Bobby Gillespie who at the time worked at a printers in Glasgow. Some included hand written inserts from the band.
