Some general remarks: Here comes a real treat. This is the very first US Stereo issue with the earliest possible Stampers and the desired "W7" logo on Label and Sleeve. Don't underestimate this fact as only true first pressings bear this logo. What makes it even more special is the condition of the Vinyl; both records are in "like new" condition. Seriously.
I grade my records on top notch equipment, using the expensive Lyra Kleos MC-cartridge. It reveals everything from any Vinyl which sometimes can be a curse, especially with 40+ year old records. When I grade a record as Excellent, I am pretty sure many other sellers would not hestitate to call it Near Mint. When I give a record the "Near Mint" grading it is practically flawless. I am collecting Vinyl since 35+ years and own hundreds of records from the day they came into the shops. I clean all records on my Keith Monks RCM II and add the Nagaoka N102 protective sleeve to each record.
The Vinyl: NEAR MINT
Even held up against bright sunlight (!) in can hardly see any hairlines at all. These records are practically like new. Playback is NEAR MINT throughout all 4 sides. The Vinyl sits flat on the turntable.
The Labels: NEAR MINT
The non-laminated (1st issue) Gatefold-Sleeve: VG++ to EXCELLENT - very thick cardboard with a minimum of edge rubbing and a few tiny "white spots" on front and back as well as mild ring-wear. It looks classes better than 99,9% of the other US Ladyland-Sleeves out there. No splits or tears. Very strong spine, clearly readable.
Original Inner Sleeves: NEAR MINT - impossible to find elsewhere in this condition.
I am sure this has been a sleeper in some shelf for the past 43 years. What an amazing find.
If you ever intended to own a TRUE FIRST PRESSING of this landmark album in practically as new condition don't let this one pass by.

I pack my records professionally in stiff record mailers leaving the Vinyl (housed in Nagaoka anti-static bags) outside the Sleeve.
