Hello again my friends.
For sale today is a very rare VINYL LP Box Set pressing of DIRECT HITS by THE KILLERS, a collection of their greatest hits. This is a great collector's item and is hard to find! Please see details below:
- 180 gram thick vinyl
- Includes rare booklet with short history of the band through photos
- 5 records are included, each are 10-inch
- Housed in a thick book-like binder, with a slip for each record and the booklet
Now, the wax itself plays EX- as the records have only been played a few times each. However, you will notice from the photos that there is a "foggy haze" on some of the records. I ran into this same issue years back with another Killers vinyl which was DAY AND AGE. I was told that this may have been from the way it was pressed, the heating components used, etc (apparently Island Records has this issue with several Killers pressings). It does NOT affect how the vinyl sounds.This is a foggy type of film, not scratches despite how they may look in the photos. I have cleaned the LPs with a VPI cleaner. Again, the fog does not affect the sound quality. This record set, along with my others, has been stored in a temperature-controlled area in a non-smoking environment in a collector's shelf.
