Description
PYE NSPL 18191. STEREO. 1967. UK Pressing. Matrix -1a/1b.
This is really nice copy of a classic Live album. Vinyl looks good , At least EX. A few surface marks but I'm sure they must be just from taking the record in and out of inner sleeve . Very thick, heavy vinyl that plays perfectly. No hisses or crackles, no scratches, no skips or jumps. Not many have survived in this condition.
Label has slight residue from a sticker (check out photo ) but is just a slight miscolouring that isn;t that noticeable and is on one side only. no spindle marks. Its obvious that this a record that hasn't been played more than a couple of times. You won't be disappointed.
Sleeve is nice, no rips or tears and no writing. Just showing a few signs of age, a little rubbing on corners and the front laminated sleeve does have a few creases. 1st pressing Flipback sleeve. The back does have a residue from a sticker being removed but it hasn't torn the sleeve in any way and can be hardly noticed to be honest, its just to the left of the catalogue number, see if you can spot it in photo. Garrod and Lofthouse sleeve. VG++ is possible under grading it.
On 24-Sep-06 at 19:09:56 BST, seller added the following information: An eagle eyed collector has noticed that the Sleeve has the mono catalogue number printed on it but the record is the Stereo version. His copy has the same mismatch but perhaps this is not so strange because it was not uncommon for record companies to use up old stock of mono sleeves to match with the newer stereo records. The record that is up for auction is as it was bought from the shop in the sixties.price rating
