Description

HERE'S a rare mono copy of The Kink Kontroversy (or The Kinks Controversy - no-one is quite sure) by The Kinks on original UK Pye from 1965. The front laminated flipback 'patents pending' Garrod & Lofthouse single sleeve is in strong VG- condition with no sticker damage, no rips or tears, a little light creasing and three very small marks next to song titles on the rear panel, as shown in my photos. Both pink Pye labels are in VG- condition with no writing, rips or sticker damage but showing plentiful spindle markings when angled under artificial light, and both sides of the disc look VG- in normal light with various light surface and sleeve removal/scuff marks but certainly no deep feelable scratches to be seen when examined under strong halogen lighting. Features 'Till The End of the Day' The Kink Kontroversy is "a very fine album ... a sharp, intelligent, highly tuneful record", observes AM in Galactic Ramble.
