Description
Here is another selection from a collection of original 50s/60s LPs.
This is the UK original Pye mono version of The Kinks' self-titled first album
Again, I shall assume if you are reading this then you know what you are looking at, so straight to the relevant details.

Matrix numbers:
Side 1: NN 1096 A2T - KT etched in dead wax
Side 2: NN 1096 B2T - KT etched in dead wax
The Garrod & Lofthouse "Patents Pending" cover is in very nice condition. Some shallow corner creases on the front. Laminate is totally intact, spine is unflattened, intact and clean. The flipbacks are all intact, with a touch of foxing to the rear cover.
The labels are clean, with a few spindle marks.
The vinyl has a few hairlines on both sides. You can see this in the photograph above. I've listened through twice, and would say it plays very well. There are no sticks or skips, with the occasional soft pop in a couple of places. I'd conservatively grade at VG+ - I don't try to hoodwink with my descriptions, hence the rather brutal description of the faults.
The record will be very securely packed in a box mailer with lots of extra padding.
