s/t LP - THE KOALA (Capitol SKAO 176)
Original 1969 U.S. stereo LP. 13 tracks, including ace winners like "Don't You Know What I Mean," "Colours Of Our Rainbow," "Poppa Duke Tyler," "Strange Feelings," "You Say," "Scattered Children's Toys," more TERRIFIC mod-rock/psych sounds by this way hip New York quintet masquerading as Aussies (a la The Strangeloves). These cats out-Nazz The Nazz for Anglo-inspired brilliance, no question. With a freaky fab unipak cover to boot. Highly recommended to anyone that digs The Who, The Small Faces, The Creation, etc.
Disc = EX (plays fine; just some faint pops here & there)
Cover = front - very slight ring/general wear, tiny lite crease in upper left corner, very slight wear along 3 edges, lite cracking on right side / inside - just barely a hint of ring wear / back - very slight ring wear, lite wear in all corners, very slight wear along right spine edge / very slight wear on top rear edge, some wear on bottom rear edge, slight spine edge wear
Labels = just a couple of faint spindle marks around center hole
