Description
The Laughing Clowns were an amazing band with amazing music and definitely one of my favourite bands from the 80's. Some people described it as Jazz Punk but really it had very little to do with Jazz and a lot to do with originality. Dissonant, jarring saxes and trumpets do not a jazz band make. This is the original Australian pressing rather than the U.K. one. It comes in a Hot Records mail order inner sleeve selling other Aussie records as well as rock-related books from Rock Read. Just remember this was 1984 so for the love of god don't try to order anything from it or you might be waiting a while! Also has the lyrics insert. Stunning unmarked vinyl that looks close to Mint condition. Same goes for the sleeve which is close to immaculate. The inners look great too. Get it while it's Hot!

THE RECORDS: I am a private seller and these are my own records. Most of this vinyl is from the late 70's and early to mid 80's and a lot of it is in EX, and NEAR MINT condition. The records have always been kept standing up in click-seal plastic sleeves, hence the great shape of most covers, and the lack of dust on records. Records were always treated with respect and carefully played. Worn styluses were never used. Most records were put onto cassette and played that way as it was more convenient. In the last 15 years I haven't really played them except to grade. Please note that A NEAR MINT RECORD IS A RECORD THAT IS VIRTUALLY IN AS NEW CONDITION WITH MAYBE ONE OR TWO TINY, ALMOST INVISIBLE MARKS ON IT, AND OFTEN NO MARKS AT ALL. AN EX RECORD IS IN GREAT CONDITION WITH A FEW HAIRLINE MARKS THAT DON'T AFFECT THE SOUND.
PACKING: This record will be expertly packed using a new flat high-profile cardboard box (not an LP mailer which is too tight around the record and has no buffer room for knocks in transit, nor is it high enough to insert proper packaging materials around the record). The vinyl is removed from the covers and printed inners to avoid seam splits, and is wrapped in bubble-wrap. The record and sleeves are then placed between thick LP-sized squares of styrofoam. This offers premium protection to the records you've just spent money on. Please read my feedback if you have any doubts and you'll see many a happy customer :-)
