THE LEAVES S/T (HEY JOE) ITALY, 1966 RICORDI INTERNATIONAL 22-007
Very rare and hard to find italian market debut of the first album by The Leaves, issued in Italy in 1966 on Ricordi International label. It comes in wonderful conditions. Amazing unique different art cover in pure 60's style printed on an extremely delicate unlaminated single cardboard sheet is perfect, only very light signes of time, really nice, whites are incredibly brilliant, please see photos: NM Vinyl plays perfect, although it has classic (but absolutely without effects on the sound) superficial surface scuffs left by the original inner sleeve due to the permanence inside it in its lifetime. It plays clean, really beautiful, and there are a twice (only on one side) of very light spindle marks on labels, that are absolutely perfect and clean: EX+/NM- It will be difficult for you to find a copy of this masterpiece in better conditions: few copies were pressed only for italian market, and sales were not exciting, don't miss it! It includes the first version ever released before on vinyl of classic Hey Joe tune. One year later, Jimi Hendrix will release it on his legendary debut. Fantastic and evergreen sound absolutely recommended: this is your chance, good luck!
