Original 1969 lp.The Lemon Dips ‘Who’s Gonna Buy?’. Very scarce u.k. library lp with some mad heavy freakbeat/psych tracks. Side 1 has the vocal tracks while Side 2 has the instrumental versions. All of the tracks are credited to Hawksworth and Reno. Heavy tunes throughout,some with definite grinding funk feel but overall a classic piece of freakbeat/psych.Very scarce lp sought after by freakbeat and psych collectors as well as library fanatics.Released on the DeWofle label in 1969,this is an absolutey cracking lp from start to finish.Tracks include ‘I Am The Man’ with heavy solo drum intro,scorching organ and psyched out guitar.’Who’s Gonna Buy?’ with solid funky drums,heavy bass line and more crazed guitar.’Poor Lonely Woman’ with spaced guitar stabs,screeching organ and tight shuffling drums.’Winter Song’ is another killer with more of the same as is ‘Unpack Your Bags’.Some awesome vocals on each track too as well as the instrumental versions on the B Side.A totally classic example of the genre easily up there with the best freak/psych records of the 60’s.Stunning lp. Record near mint.Sleeve near mint.
