Description
This is the hard to find LP of The Lively Ones Surfin' South of the Border, The Swinginest Surf Band Ever-Goes Latin! on Del-Fi Records DFLP 1240 Produced by Bob Keene. The LP has 12 tracks with 6 each by The Lively Ones and The Surf Mariachis. The front cover photo is very nice with only the slightest hint of wear at the top. The bottom seam has begun splitting. The split is barely noticeable at this point but you can see a small amount of the cover has flaked off in that area. It also has seam split at the top opening for 6 inches. Still the cover would be worthy of framing as everything about the front cover is sharp except for the seam split. The back cover shows minor wear and a slight fade on the left side but is still quite sharp. The vinyl looks a very nice VG++ to M- with a nice glossy shine and excellent labels.
These LPs are from a friend's personal collection that was a serious surf music fan.
