‘THE LONDON MUDDY WATERS SESSIONS’ CHESS 1972 RORY GALLAGHER- SUPERB!! VG+ VG.
A small selection of great albums from my collection!
This one is the superb 1972 album Muddy Waters recorded when he came over to London which features some of his US blues musicians of the time (Carey Bell and Sam Layhorn) collaborating with some of the top UK rock blues musicians (Rory Gallagher, Rick Grech, Stevie Winwood, Georgie Fame and Mitch Mitchell) of that period.
There’s some superbly relaxed playing as they rework some of Muddy Waters’ greatest material and there’s some fab ruffing from a great brass section; it’s certainly worth a serious listen.
The vinyl is extremely clean and plays really, really well with only an occasional crackle. I would grade it as a strong VG+.
The gatefold cover is fine and it’s kept its shape well. There’s a little bit of marking on the top left front from a sticker and some general overall marks that fit in with 49 years of storage on my shelves. I would grade the cover as VG.
I clean all records carefully with ‘Vinyl Clear ’ but they may benefit from a clean with a professional machine.
I use Record Collector gradings. Please ensure that you understand them before you bid.
Each single will be packed in a mailer.
I have long-standing very strong feedback so hopefully can be seen as a trustworthy seller. I pack carefully and dispatch the morning after the end of the auction.
I’m not seeking to make a killing on postage, so am happy to combine postage up to 2 kgs (2nd class small parcel).
Please contact me if you have any queries.
Happy bidding!
