Before The Lond Blondes were a bona fide Rough Trade group, they released a myriad of now legendary singles and EPs on independent labels. 'Giddy Stratospheres' is no doubt the most well-known as it was re-released fairly recently and climbed to the top of the UK indie charts.

Combining the out-and-out POP moments of Pulp with the rougher edges of New Wave, The Long Blondes have become a cult band. No doubt the glamour and attractiveness of the band have a hand in this rise, but the songs themselves are finely crafted diamond-sharp gems. By turns witty, sarcastic but always entertaining, the Long Blondes are at home with the 7 inch format...

As you can imagine, the pre-Rough Trade singles were pressed on limited runs. This, their 3rd single, was no exception and has quickly passed into the realm of record collecting. Rest assured this is the FIRST ISSUE of this single! To give everyone a chance the start price will be low and there will be NO RESERVE (as usual!!)

CONDITION OF SLEEVE/VINYL: NEAR MINT-. The sleeve and the vinyl are in absolutely BEAUTIFUL condition. The SLEEVE is stiff, unworn, uncreased and totally AS NEW. The vinyl playing surface, which is sky blue, is lovely and smooth... and sounds AMAZING. There is one tiny tiny paper scuff as a result of removing the record from the paper inner, but this does not sound and I guarantee most people would not even mention this mark!! The labels are perfect, no spindlemarks or imperfections. YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.

Alas, the time has come to off load some of my prized indie singles. Most of the items up this week are Out Of Print, limited edition 7" singles from current collectable artists. Some of these were featured in Record Collector Magazine, and some were not. I am an avid collector of many, many genres and keep my records in IMMACULATE condition. I grade according to the Record Collector Price Guide 'Ready Reckoner' and almost NEVER sell anything which is below EXCELLENT condition. Rest assured that my EXCELLENT is bloody EXCELLENT! Oh yeah and I NEVER GRADE ANYTHING MINT THAT IS NOT SEALED!! Near Mint is the highest grading I use for unsealed records.

All records will be sent within two days MAXIMUM of receipt of payment (usually within 4/5 hours of payment received). Your record will be expertly packed in a professional brown mailer, using one or two stiffeners and housed in a PVC 7" sleeve with the record in a paper inner placed outside the sleeve as is standard practice. I've always been lucky when buying records from ebay (save the odd occasion) and would like all buyers of my records to be 100% SATISFIED!
