Nearly sixty years on, Gerry Humphreys remains the only truly charismatic pop singer in this country's history (yes, he was born in England, but we'll claim him anyway) ...
This is the Loved Ones' sole EP, with their two finest moments in The Loved One and Ever Lovin' Man, as well as a pretty good take on Blueberry Hill and a forgettable b-side.
It crops up on eBay now and then, but very rarely in this condition. Sleeve is not far off near mint, with a few age spots and a retailer's price sticker. Disc is also in excellent condition, very clean and bright with a short visible scratch that doesn't sound on track one. Labels have no writing, just a sticker removal mark on side 2.
