Description

THE MANHATTAN TRANSFER debut –
Atlantic SD-18133 Original –
Factory Sealed

Who knew, that when four people met in a NYC taxi cab they would go on to such jazz vocal fame.

Producer Ahmet Ertegun knew in a moment, and so produced this first album, and is it ever fabulous.  True vocal fireworks, as Alan, Janis, Laurel and Tim take you on a musical trip of TUXEDO JUNCTION, OPERATOR, SWEET TALKING GUY, CLAP YOUR HANDS, OCCAPELLA, and BLUE CHAMPAGNE, among others.

The original, not a bar-coded re-issue, here factory sealed.

Not to be missed.

For other fine records, TAS picks and hard-to-finds, please see my complete list of offerings here on eBay.
