Description

1976 Trojan TBL 107 LP 'Monkey Man'.
This is a later UK pressing of the 1970 original and has the light blue Trojan labels and non laminated sleeve. Yet the respective matrices on the dead wax run-offs are TBL+107+A and TBL+107+B so likely pressed from the original master?
A reasonable cover with some edge wear but the spine is fairly good. Has corner rubs, creases, ringwear, price sticker glue residue and stains on the rear...all of which are not show stoppers, I'm just listing them for information! Lets say 6 /10 for condition.
139g is the weight of the flat and shiny vinyl. Clean labels showing signs of several plays at the centres.
I'm angling the disc under a bright light and can't see too much untoward; the usual light 'bagrash' (ie storage) scuffs and hairlines but it's in decent shape so visually I give it 7.75 /10 for condition.
On the hi-fi it sounds pretty good to me. Any light clicks and pops are probably attributed to the fact a decent clean wouldn't go amiss but the aural experience is pretty decent. I'm going for 7.75 /10 again for the play quality.
