Description
THE MEGAZONES – Never Been So Lonely / Circles – 7” on tiny dB Records label from 1980 (DBS 2).
The Megazones were a New Wave / Power Pop band who formed in Dundee in the late 1970’s and released just one excellent and collectable single in 1980.
This single is one of a handful of releases on the tiny dB label (associated with Decibel Studios, London where these tracks were recorded).
Visually the vinyl is in great condition, retaining a nice sheen. There are a few very minor marks / scuffs when viewed under a good light but nothing which affects play in any way. The labels are clean with little evidence of spindle marking. Never issued in a picture sleeve, this copy comes in a plain white period sleeve.
Spinning it on the turntable confirms that it is nice and flat with no edge warps. Audibly the sound quality is great, there is a little background noise during run in / out / between tracks, and the occasional click or pop, but this copy would be a great addition to any collection.
Overall then a really nice copy of a Power Pop collectable which I would grade as Ex overall.
