Description


Here's a great ORIGINAL US STEREO PRESSING of THE METERS  - REJUVENATION LP on the REPRISE LABEL. This pressing from 1974. CAT#MS2200.  It's  pretty rare, and not easy to come by in super fresh condition.  It's a killer funky LP produced by Allen Toussaint and The Meters.  As funk was coming into it's own as a genre in the early 70s, The Meters were an outstanding regional band that was doing it New Orleans style.  They are unique in the funk genre for that, and unquestionably great.
This is an excellent copy. The cover is still in shrink.  There's a bottom right cut out, and there was a cover sticker, but someone did a poor peel job, and left half of the remnants of it... It can be fully removed with a few squirts of lighter fluid.  The vinyl looks and plays great and is NEAR MINT.  The OG INNER is VG+ with some handling, and typical folds.  This copy has the alternate label format with no "STEREO" on the labels.
