*** CRACKED COPY *** PLEASE READ DESCRIPTION ***
ORIGINAL MACHINE STAMPED SIXTIES US ISSUE:
Vinyl is in a VG++ condition.
Crack runs through the playing surface and appears to have had a touch of glue to the very outside edge of the record to hold it firm then the split has been secured on the flip with electrical tape, see pics, it feels solid, not wobbly or cracked.
It plays really well.
There are five very light rotational tics noticeable as the record starts, they are light tics, not standout pops - light tics.
Then there is the odd tiny tic here and there off and on well under the music...and I mean barely noticeable tiny tics.
I was listening for them to give an honest description if you get my drift, if you were dancing to it or weren’t looking at where the crack is like I was, I don’t think you’d pick up on them.
After the break/second half of the record I didn’t hear anything.
Still goes for £180/200+ in straight condition, see auction results in pics.
If the noticeable tics across the record, namely the opening set, were scratches I’d still appraise this as a VG/VG+ as there is very little noticeable auditory disturbance.
Could grab a bargain, I’d play it out no bother.
