Description

"I Can Take You To The Sun" bw " Who Do You Love"  Fontana  TF 777

The Misunderstood were a psychedelic rock band originating from Riverside,
California in the mid-1960s. The band moved to London early in their career,
and although they recorded only a handful of songs, before being forced to
disband, they are considered highly influential in the then-emerging genre.

Fontana Records introduced the band with a 4-song live performance in
London's Philips Studios.  British response was positive,[4]  but at this
juncture their career was disrupted and ruined by the Vietnam draft of
lead singer and song writer Rick Brown.

In London they released two singles before being forced to disband, notably
two classic psychedelic tracks: "I Can Take You To The Sun" and "Children of the Sun".
They had only recorded 7 tracks in London.
