This is the UK 1st Press of ‘Under The Jasmin Tree’ by The Modern Jazz Quartet. The earliest press is complete with the rare corrected SAPCOR 4 A-1/ B-1 matrix, the early 1G / 1O Mothers and Stampers and the original dark Apple labels. The vinyl is complete with the original Apple black inner sleeve and fully laminated sleeve.
The record is in Excellent condition. The vinyl has a sensational bright gloss, with very little sign of play at all. There are just a few insignificant very light hairlines marks. On playing the sound is warm, rich and clear. There are moments of a little slight background noise but these are insignificant. It sounds Excellent. The label is completely clean with bright colours and sharp text. There is NO spindle wear, just a couple of spider marks.
The record is complete with the original black inner in Excellent condition. There are no edge splits, the sleeve is solid and clean.
The fully laminated sleeve is in Excellent condition. The laminate has a superb shine and the colours are still bright. There is just slight edge wear. The spine is firm with sharp text and the whole sleeve is solid. 625 (GS 6.9.7 (625))
